There was a time when all we wanted was for the celebrity couples we loved to make it work like Hulk Hogan and Linda Hogan. But we were left in the rain when the pair separated.
Then we moved to Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey, Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise, and the list goes without end. The two things that happened in all was that we thought they made a perfect couple, and yet they broke up.
Now we are even scared to say we want new celebrity couples to be like Jay-Z and Beyonce or even David and Victoria Beckham. After Angelina Jolie and Brad Bitt, I will be darned to throw in my Sacagawea for any couple!
Well I might have atempted on Denzel Washington and Pauletta but these are days of uncertainties and people are already talking.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie
I shouldn’t put in Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt in this because it’s no news that Angelina has filed a divorce, but I couldn’t help me. These two were ‘the couple’ of Hollywood as far as I was concerned. They were more beautiful as a couple than they can ever be as individuals. The Salt actress filed for divorce from Pitt as a result irreconcilable difference. The couple has been together since 2004, when he was married to Jennifer Aniston. However, they only got married in 2014. They have six children; three biological and three adopted.
Vanilla Ice and Laura Van Winkle
After close to twenty years of marriage, Laura Van Winkle is calling it quits on Vanilla Ice. The divorce according to TMZ, is coming after the couple has been separated for several years. Through their years together, Ice has been arrested on various occasions for assaulting his wife. This included in 2001 for which he was sentenced, and in 2008. In a report, Laura said she was tired of living a lie with the rapper. Ice and Laura have two daughters.
Scottie Pippen and Larsa Pippen
A very ugly divorce was filed by Scottie Pippen, who seeks to be separated from Larsa Pippen. The Former NBA star and the former “Real Housewives of Miami” star have been married for close to twenty years and they have four children. According to Scottie, 51, his marriage to Larsa, 43, is irrevocably broken, and he wants the court to affirm that and give him sole custody of their children. It is widely alleged that Larsa’s alleged relationship with 33 years old Hip hop artist, Future, is the cause of the breakup. Apart from asking for ultimate custody of their children, Scottie is as well praying the court to absolve him from paying alimony.
Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman
Although there have been reports that their marriage had cracked, I never thought Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman would call it quits this soon. It is twelve years, but I still feel it’s too soon since I saw the two as a couple that would not fail in the happily ever after story. How wrong of me! Lens Wiseman has filed a divorce to have the marriage to his actress wife ended. The director, in the papers he filed, cited irreconcilable difference as the reason why he wants a divorce. The two have been apart for sometime before Len filed for the divorce.
Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky
Well at least it’s not all bad news, except for those who want to see Chris Hemsworth and Elsa Pataky apart. The couple has come out after a divorce rumor to debunk anything of such sort. Both Chris and Elsa took to their Instagram to put the rumor on their six year marriage to rest. The couple has two three children; a daughter and two boys.
By the way as we get sad over all those broken marriages, we can still put on some smile that we still have some who have survived a long time.
