Everyone, including those who have sold their souls to bed, munching chocolate and sipping milk, want to make it to the hall of fame. The earlier, the better we would prefer.

The irony, however, is that there are so many who got there, quite early too and wished they never made the journey. To them, it is actually the hell of fame.

It gets interestingly sad that these were kids we loved and wanted to be like, or at least our kids to be like. They were the ones we thought had the world. That is until fame made the world crash on them.

Here are some of them that got lost in the hell of fame:

Culkin was the darling Home Alone kid actor. He began acting in 1988, but got famous for Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York. As a child, he acted in other movies including Jacob ’s ladderRichie Rich, Uncle Buck, My Girl and The Good Son.

Culkin became one of the most successful child actors before he got out of acting when he was only 14. He married Rachel Miner in 1998 and the marriage ended in 2002. Culkin got caught in the hell of fame when he took to drugs, and was jailed in 2004.

His looks affirm that he did not quite survive his journey through the hell of fame. While he still acts, he is more into music with a band called Pizza Underground.

Corey became famous in the 80’s when he began acting as a child. He began using drugs at the age of 15 to get away from acting, and then he got involved with the law in 1993.

By 1997 he had filed for bankruptcy. To cut free from his addictions, Hiam went to Rehab more than 10 times. He reportedly suffered a drug-induced stroke in 2010, and died in 2010 due to drug overdose.

At the age of 10, Tatum became the youngest person to win an Academy Award. She clinched the award in 1963 for her role in the Paper Moon. A year before the award, she had already begun drug and alcohol abuse, following the footsteps of her father. She married in 1986 and got a divorce in 1994 after having three children. She was arrested in 2008 for drug possession. In 2012 she went into rehab for drug abuse.

At 11 months, Barrymore appeared on screen in a commercial, and when she was five, she acted in the Altered States. From then on, she continued as a child actress acting in other movies including ET and Irreconcilable Differences. She found herself in night clubs at the age of nine with her mother after her father had left them.

By 13 she had taken to alcohol and weed and soon she was into cocaine. She sought for rehabilitation at 14 and at 15 she got herself a place away from her mother and got a job. While she continued to walk in the hell of fame for many years to come, she would later have her life in order to a very large extent.

Foxworth got famous as a young actress on the ‘90s sitcom, Family Matters. With the fourth season done, she was taken off script and left jobless. 19, jobless, and getting into drugs, Jamie sought for a door in the porn industry. She was able to make it out of the porn industry, and make a good life for herself.

At the age of five, Jodie met fame when she became a part of the cast of Full House as Stephanie Tanner. When the show came to an end after eight years, she took to alcohol and partying. She got married in 2002, and after four years, the marriage fell apart.

Shortly after the marriage Sweetin got into drugs and became addicted. A year before her marriage ended, she checked into a rehab. She would go ahead in the next seven years to marry and divorce set designer Cory Herpin, and Morty Coyle. She walked out safe from the hell of fame to become a writer on drug abuse.

Born 1977, Furlong made it popular in the movie industry by 14, when he featured in the very popular Terminator 2: Judgment Day, where he acted alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, as John Connor. After the movie, he acted in American Heart and A Home of Our Own. Like with most other child stars, Furlong fell into alcoholism and drug addiction. At 16 he got involved with his 29-year-old tutor. The couple stayed together for 6 years before she left him, claiming abuse, for which would later be arrested more than once. He opted for rehab in 2013 to avoid a prison sentence.
